Artist Demonstration

Morrill Memorial Library The Norwood Art Association holds their monthly Artist Demonstration on the 3rd Thursday of each month. This month’s featured demo artist will be Kathrine Lovell. Kathrine was born in Sydney Australia, but now resides in Tiverton, Rhode Island. Her “canvas” is usually wood and she begins by making her surface rough with layers of paint and crackling. Reproductions of Kathrine’s work have been sold in Trader Joe’s, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohl’s and Target. The demonstrations are FREE and open to the public. Light refreshments are served and there is a raffle of a piece of art donated by the attending artist.
