A comedy show fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 8 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro. Comics for Carr will feature standup comedy performances by J.J. Jones, John Davis, Bryce Hanson, and Tooky Kavanagh. The show will be hosted by Justin P. Drew.
Comedian J.J. Jones is a former KP High School teacher, and also coached soccer and track at the school. All proceeds from the show will go to former KP High School Class of 2015 graduate Henry Carr to help with medical expenses. Carr was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in May of 2014, and is currently battling a relapse of his cancer while attending the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.
Tickets are $18 and can be purchased at www.comicsforcarr.brownpapertickets.com. The show is recommended for ages 18 and older.
