Dean College, a private college located in Franklin, and the Massachusetts Amateur Sports Foundation (MASF), a non-profit organization that hosts a series of large sport competitions throughout the state, are excited to announce a new partnership to benefit both high school and college students.
Through this partnership, Dean College will be at the forefront of promoting the Bay State Games Student Ambassador Program. The Ambassador Program allows high school students the opportunity to build their resume for college applications, learn about marketing and sport management, and gain hands-on experience through volunteer work both at the games, and at their high schools.
Additionally, this partnership will allow Dean College students to gain access to valuable internships with the Bay State Games, where they will learn the many aspects of sports management, including event management, event operations, sponsorship fulfillment and media relations. Former Bay State Games interns have moved on to employment positions with many prestigious organizations in the sports industry including the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Capitals, Boston Marathon, UMass Amherst Athletics, Northeastern Athletics and the Big East Conference.
