Dean College is pleased to announce that Paul Resten has accepted appointment as Dean of the School of Continuing Studies, and Assistant Vice President of Business Development
Resten comes to Dean with over 30 years of experience in senior sales and marketing leadership positions at large companies including IBM and Motorola, as well as start-up organizations. His most recent position was at IBM Security’s North American Information Risk and Protection, where he served as Business Unit Executive.
Considered a thought leader in the cyber security field, Resten also has deep experience across many industries including financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail and government.
In addition to his new appointment, Mr. Resten is a distinguished executive faculty member at Dean College having served as an advisory board member for the Dean College School of Business, as well as an executive lecturer in marketing, technology and leadership.
“Continuing Studies is an important growth element to career development,” said Resten. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to build on Dean College’s School of Continuing Studies programs and continue to shape the offerings in a manner that mesh’s with the needs of those interested in continuing or completing studies, as well as the requirements of the business community.”
Mr. Resten will also be keenly focused on growing Dean Colleges business relationships for the benefit of the students, the College and the community.
