The July 4th Franklin Coalition has a new feature this year, a road race on July first, sponsored by the Franklin Recreation Department. The Adult 5K will take place at 9 a.m., with registration at 8-8:45 at The Gazebo at Town Common. The Children’s 1.2-mile race will begin at 10 a..m., with registration at the Gazebo at 8:45-9:45 a.m. Or, visit www.franklinma.gov/recreation-department to register.
