The Medway Foundation for Education Announces 2nd Annual “Dodging 4 School” Dodgeball Tournament

The Medway Foundation for Education (MFE) will host its second annual all ages dodgeball tournament fundraiser on Saturday, March 18, 2017. “Dodging 4 School” will be held at the Medway Middle School, 45 Holliston St. Medway from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. 
The tournament will be broken down into age/grade divisions for children and adults. The day will start with a drop-in session from 11-noon for children ages 4-7. They will play a modified and supervised version of the game.  Grade divisions will be 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-12, plus an adults 18 and over division. Cost is $160 per team of 8 players. Deadline for registration is March 4th.
First and second place winners will be recognized in each division. Prizes will be given in each division for first place and best team costume. So get creative and sign your team up now by going to MFEducation.org. For questions email us at [email protected] or find us on

Radio station MYFM 101.3 will be broadcasting their Saturday Morning sports show MYFM Sports LIVE from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Refreshments will be available including Ice Cream form TC Scoops. Mini massages will be offered by Teamworks Physical Therapy and a whole lot more. Come join the fun!

The Medway Foundation for Education is an all volunteer 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization formed in 2000.  The MFE provides funds in the form of grants for innovative programs in the Medway schools not already covered by the school budget. Last year over $16,500 was awarded to nine worthy grant requests including; A Permanent District Student Art Collection, Micropipette for Molecular Genetics Applications, BOKS- Reebok Foundation before school physical activity, Flexible Classroom/Differentiating Instruction, Student Tools Project, Sixth Grade Speaker Series, Fostering Curious Readers, and JSTOR (access to high quality academic journals). The Medway Foundation for Education has funded over $250,000 to date and is in the process of creating a long term endowment fund for future generations to utilize.
