The Norfolk Community League (NCL) is pleased to name Lisa Collentro as the 2017 Norfolk Person of the Year. A mother, friend, and neighbor, Lisa has worked tirelessly to make a significant, positive impact on the Norfolk community. She has dedicated much of her time to Norfolk Baseball as a coach and board member, and has assisted in organizing opening and closing day activities. She recently helped a local Boy Scout troop earn the Emergency Procedure merit badge, and helped with the “Bubba Strong Open Golf Tournament,” to support two members of the King Philip family being treated at the Mass General Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit. She also lends her support as a chaperone for school field trips and coordinates volunteer opportunities
Each gala year, the NCL asks local residents to nominate an individual who helps make our community a better place to live. Norfolk residents then vote on the finalists. This year the NCL received 12 nominees and more than 500 votes. The NCL thanks the nominees and those who submitted nominations for this year’s Norfolk Person of the Year.
Lisa was honored at the Norfolk Community Gala, which took place on March 25 at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro.
