Norfolk Recreation Fall Programs for Toddler through Pre-K

Registration is now open for Norfolk Recreation’s toddler and pre-K fall programs. Classes start in November. Non-residents are welcome.
Practicing Pre-School Join Miss Jillian and Miss Raina for a preschool-like day on Wednesday and/or Thursday mornings for 1 ½ hours or 2 ¾ hours (extended-day program). This is an opportunity for children to make friends in a school-like setting and get used to a structured routine. For ages 2 to 4.
Math for Kidz Taught by Mrs. Anne Pizzi, former math curriculum teacher at the Freeman Kennedy School, this is a fun, get-to-know numbers class. The program is held on Tuesday from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. The fee is $49 for 6 weeks. For ages 3.5 to 5.
Broadway Babies Designed to introduce children to musical theatre, this class will combine songs and cooperative movement activities. The littlest players will work on idea sharing, turn-taking, and self-expression. Held on Wednesday afternoons. The fee is $49 for 6 weeks. For ages 3.5 to 5.
Other favorite programs include Sticky Fingers on Mondays for 18 months to 3 years; Parent and Tot Gymnastics on Tuesdays for 18 months to 3 yrs.; and Jumping Gym for ages 3-5.
