KP Boys Warrior Basketball
Join KP boys varsity basketball Coach Champagne, the King Philip coaching staff, and the King Philip basketball players for four great days on the court: work hard, have fun, develop team work and improve skills. Using the combination of games and skill work, this camp will have players improving on their game, as well as learning new skills. An understanding of the game, athletic training and sports nutrition will also be addressed. This camp is for boys entering Grades 4 through 9. Players are asked to dress appropriately, and pack a healthy snack and lunch with plenty of liquids.
The four day session runs July 17-20 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at KP High School. The cost of the program is $150 first player; $75 brothers. Each player will receive a t-shirt.
Summer Field Hockey
KP varsity coach Liz Hathaway, along with KP field hockey players, will teach the fundamental skills of field hockey in this fun-filled summer program. As players progress, so do drill levels. Emphasis will be on the development and refinement of good stick work, passing, shooting, receiving and defensive skills. Program will include a warm-up and cool-down, instruction, conditioning, scrimmages and contests. Inside time will include team building activities. This program is for students entering Grades 4 through 9. Bring a healthy snack and lunch (no peanuts), a mouth guard, shin guards, and plenty of water. Wear sneakers and bring cleats.
The four-day session runs August 7-10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at KP High School. The cost of the program is $129 or $155 with purchase of stick. Height must be entered at time of registration to order stick. Players registering by July 12 will receive a ball and t-shirt.
