Occupy Natick will show the film The Brainwashing of My Dad on Monday, Feb. 20, 7 to 9 p.m. at Sherrill Hall, 39 East Central St. Natick (rear of St. Paul’s Church). In this documentary, the filmmaker Jen Senko examines the rise of right-wing media through the lens of her father, whose immersion in it radicalized him and rocked the foundation of their family. She discovers this political phenomenon recurring in living rooms everywhere, and reveals the consequences conservative media has had on families and a nation.
Occupy Natick meets each month to plan events. The group is looking for more members to continue its work. For more information, email [email protected] or visit http://occupynatick.org.
