Stone Cutters of Old Parish

Morrill Memorial Library Patricia Fanning will present an illustrated talk about the gravestone carvers whose work is represented in Norwood’s Old Parish Cemetery, established in 1741. This presentation will focus on several local artists whose craftsmanship can be viewed at Old Parish Cemetery, including those recently uncovered by Old Parish Preservation Volunteers during this past year’s work days. OPPV will be scheduling several Saturday morning work sessions this spring and fall and volunteers of all ages are welcome to help. The cemetery is also open to the public during work sessions.
