Issue Date:

Article Body:

Children, teens, and adults are welcome to join the summer reading program at the Fiske Public Library. The program, Build a Better World, encourages Wrentham families to read together during summer vacation months.
Participants are encouraged to read or be read to a minimum of 15 minutes a day for 30 days. There will be prizes, incentives, and special events all summer long as part of the program.
The first 400 children from ages 7 to 18 to register for the program will receive a bookmark and 50% off coupon at TreeTop Adventures in Canton. Treetop Adventures is a high ropes and zip-line course consisting of more than 130 platforms installed in the trees and connected by various obstacles like rope netting, rolling logs, climbing walls, air trapeze and zip-lines.
All summer reading participants completing 30 days of reading by August 1 will receive a coupon for a children’s ice cream cone, donated by Nicky’s Restaurant.
In addition, participants in grades 1-12 who complete the program will receive a free ticket to a PawSox game for either a reserved box seat or general admission seat. On game night, the students will be honored at a special ceremony on the field.
