Summer may seem a long way off, but now’s the time to sign up for a farm share that will guarantee fresh, local produce on the table once the weather finally warms up. White Barn Farm in Wrentham is now accepting signups for its 2017 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs.
CSA members pay up front for a farm’s produce, enabling the farmers to plan ahead. In return, CSA members receive a box of just-picked produce at various times during the season. Buying produce directly from the farmer through a CSA program can deepen connections between local farms and the community.
