Morrill Memorial Library
Hear the Just Peace Players tell the stories, in their own words, of women who lived through World War II. This 50-minute play recounts the experiences of combat nurses, teenage plane spotters, black marketeers, USO dancers, refugees, war brides, children in Nazi Germany and Japan, and the mothers, grandmothers, sisters, fiancées and girlfriends, among others, who kept the home fires burning during the war. To sign up, call 781-769-0200, x110, or stop by the library reference or information desk.
