Holliston Garden Club to Feature Brittany Overshiner, “Let’s Get Down and Dirty“ March 5th

The public is invited to join The Holliston Garden Club for a talk about a variety of techniques that home gardeners can use to build healthy soil for successful gardens. Brittany Overshiner will provide tips on planting, pest and weed management at the Holliston Senior Center, 150 Goulding St., Holliston on March 5, at 7:30 p.m.
Brittany Overshiner runs Upswing Farm with her husband, Kevin. It is a small, diversified vegetable farm on the border of Ashland and Holliston. Over the past three years more than 300 families have participated in their CSA Program. Brittany values healthy people and healthy environments over profit, and uses constantly evolving and innovative methods to grow the most nutritious food possible with the least environmental impact.
