Thanks to the hard work of a dedicated group of volunteers, Franklin Concerts on the Common continues on into another season. The summertime evening concerts are funded through the generosity of the Franklin Cultural Council (funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council), local businesses, patrons and residents. The free concerts offer a wide variety of musical groups for young and old alike.
The fun for the whole family generally takes place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights, with children’s programs as an introduction to the bigger acts, from 6-6:30 p.m. where noted. In the event of rain, concerts will be held at a later date, if possible.
