 Zumba Classes
Join Norfolk Rec for this fun and lively class taught by an experienced professional. If you love rhythm (or even if you are a little rhythm challenged) Zumba is loads of fun. Zumba fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic and fun workout system. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Zumba has coined the term “fitness party” and makes fitness fun.
The class is held at the H. Olive Day School gym (enter at rear of school) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:20 p.m. Tuesday’s instructor is Christine French and Thursday’s instructor is Carole Bouchard. The fee for both days is $120 (23 classes); Tuesdays $64 (11 classes); and Thursdays $69 (12 classes). Register at www.virtualnorfolk.org/rec.
