The amount allocated to the Wrentham Cultural Council from the state of Massachusetts was $4,600. Applications were considered with the following priorities in mind: innovative, collaborative, and creative; showed strong planning and evidence of ability to follow through; addresses a community need or reach an underserved population; local artists given preference. Congratulations to this year’s grant recipients.
The Wrentham Cultural Council will seek applications again in the fall. Information and forms are available online at www.mass-culture.org/wrentham#. Applications are due in early October.

The Wrentham Cultural Council (WCC) is the local branch of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. In addition to awarding grants, the Wrentham Cultural Council also plans exhibits and events at the Old Fiske Museum, and “Arts on the Common,” the premier annual cultural event in Wrentham, featuring juried, handcrafted fine arts and crafts, performance art and interactive activities to be held June 4th.
