Summer Field Hockey
KP varsity coach Liz Hathaway, along with KP field hockey players, will teach the fundamental skills of field hockey in this fun-filled summer program. As players progress, so do drill levels. Emphasis will be on the development and refinement of good stick work, passing, shooting, receiving and defensive skills. Program will include a warm-up and cool-down, instruction, conditioning, scrimmages and contests. Inside time will include team building activities. This program is for students entering Grades 4 through 9. Bring a healthy snack and lunch (no peanuts), a mouth guard, shin guards, and plenty of water. Wear sneakers and bring cleats.  
The four-day session runs August 7-10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at KP High School. The cost of the program is $129 or $155 with purchase of stick. Height must be entered at time of registration to order stick. Players registering by July 12 will receive a ball and t-shirt.
Players entering Grades 5 to 8 who participate in this program are eligible for 6-week fall travel field hockey (local towns). Register online only starting August 10 at 6 p.m. Teams have limited space. Practices and game information will be available online. Fee is $70 and includes pinnie.
KP Girls Warrior Basketball
Join Martin Crowley, varsity girls basketball coach at KPHS, coaching staff, KP basketball players, and former KP players now playing in college for an instructional week of basketball. Warriors School of Basketball will focus on the development of all-around skills with unique teaching stations for offense, defense and rebounding. The staff will help players develop their individual skills and learn team concepts in a fun and positive atmosphere. Players will be grouped by age and talent, and will work on shooting fundamentals, position-work specific to guards, forwards, posts and play 1 on 1, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 games. The camp is open to girls entering Grades 4 through 9.
The four day session runs June 26-29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at KP High School. The cost of the program is $150 first player; $75 sisters; if boy/girl siblings each sign-up for Boys and Girls Summer Warrior Basketball, the fee for each player is $115. Each player will receive a t-shirt.
KP Boys Warrior Basketball
Join KP boys varsity basketball Coach Champagne, the King Philip coaching staff, and the King Philip basketball players for four great days on the court: work hard, have fun, develop team work and improve skills. Using the combination of games and skill work, this camp will have players improving on their game, as well as learning new skills. An understanding of the game, athletic training and sports nutrition will also be addressed. This camp is for boys entering Grades 4 through 9. Players are asked to dress appropriately, and pack a healthy snack and lunch with plenty of liquids.
The four day session runs July 17-20 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at KP High School. The cost of the program is $150 first player; $75 sisters; if boy/girl siblings each sign-up for Boys and Girls Summer Warrior Basketball, the fee for each player is $115. Each player will receive a t-shirt.
