Milford Regional Medical Center Patient and Family Advisory Council is co-sponsoring a free presentation on palliative care, entitled “Your Life Now . . .at its Best.”
The panel discussion will be held on Wednesday, April 26 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at New England Chapel, 40 Kenwood Circle, Franklin.
Palliative care is a specialized care that manages the symptoms and pain of serious illness. Palliative care can be provided alongside curative care and is for people of any age, at any stage in an illness.
Presenters that evening will include Anthony Wilson, MD; William Muller, MD; Fr. Larry Esposito, chaplain; Amy Cornwell, Stephen’s Ministry; Elaine Willey, director of Volunteer Services at Milford Regional; and the Reverend Mike Laird.
Light refreshments will be served and guests will be included in a book raffle.
