Medway Pride Day is thrilled to announce the winners of this year’s logo contest.
• Jackson Huckins is a 7th Grader and loves to play piano and ukulele. He also enjoys drawing, sketching and performing in plays and musicals.
• Brian Benedetto has lived in Medway for 12 years with his wife, Carolynne and their two children. Heworks for a software company in Natick and spends most weekends coaching soccer, basketball, or baseball.
Medway Pride Day began in 1995 and is attended by more than 2,000 people annually. It is an event that brings together the town’s residents, businesses and community groups for a day of great fun, food and entertainment.
Medway Pride Day 2017 will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May
20th at Medway Middle School.
This year, Medway Pride Day will include the traditional favorites: the button raffle, a bike parade for elementary school students, bouncy houses, a wide assortment of food vendors, and local entertainment throughout the day.
Adding to this year’s excitement will be the Flying High Frisbee Dogs, a show that includes “4 of the most athletic border collies in the world.”
Medway Pride Day encourages residents and local businesses from Medway and adjoining towns to show their community spirit.
The following is a list of ways that you can join in the excitement and town pride:
1. Rent booth space for the event
Each year, more than 60 businesses, crafters and organizations set up booths. If you choose to participate in this way, you can offer fun activities, distribute information about your services, provides samples, and sell goods.
2. Sponsorship
$100, $200, $300, $500, $700 and $850 levels are available.
3. Button Raffle Donation
• Donate an item/gift certificate to be included in our Button Raffle
• Donations will be listed in the Medway Pride Day Program
• Donations will be announced throughout the day
