MFPA is pleased to present the third annual free Community Concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday April 2, 2017, in the Medway High School auditorium. All are welcome to enjoy an entertaining performance by the Copley Cats, an a capella group. Complimentary refreshments will be served at the end of the performance.
The Copley Cats will sing a variety of music from standards to popular music.
As one of the longest-running a cappella groups in the Boston area, the Copley Cats are known for tight harmonies, amazing blend, and great music. The group’s founders were Mount Holyoke grads who missed singing together in college and decided to form the Copley Cats. The original group’s first performance was over 30 years ago and the music has been going strong since.
The group has performed on WGBH’s 2nd season of “Sing That Thing.”
Members come from all sorts of backgrounds: teachers and administrators, librarians and marketers, designers, domestic engineers, and singer/songwriters and include our very own Burke-Memorial librarian, Mrs. Francis!
The concert is sponsored by David French Music, and supported in part by a grant from the Medway Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
