On Saturday, May 20th, members of the Millis community, including Millis Selectmen, current and former members of the Millis Fire Department, members of the Millis Permanent Building Committee, Rep. Shawn Dooley, Millis Police, Millis Historic Commission, Millis American Legion Post 208, Millis Garden Club, architects, local firms and businesses and more gathered to dedicate the refurbished building at 885 Main Street that was once the home of both the Millis Fire and Millis Police Departments as the permanent home of Millis Fire and Rescue. Chief Rick Barrett led building’s dedication and opening ceremonies, thanking a long list of community members involved in the process, and Millis Selectman James McCaffrey read the proclamation, following which members of the community were invited to tour the facility.
