Join the Millis Public Library on the last day of school, Monday, June 19 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for some food and fun in the sun (or rain)! Come by to browse our children’s book sale ($5 a bag—bags will be provided), enjoy some food and play some carnival games, including a cake walk that is always a lot of fun. Elaine Kessler will present a free interactive children’s concert perfect for children ages 3-7.
Summer Reading Program information will be available. The Summer Reading Program is a way to prepare children to reenter school in the fall by keeping them reading all summer long. Stock up at the book sale for your summer reading—a great selection of children’s and young adult books will be offered.
Again, this year will be a Millis Maker’s Fair which features artists, writers and products made in Millis. We want to showcase the great things made in our little town.
This event is sponsored by the Middlesex Savings Bank and the Friends of the Millis Public Library. All proceeds go to the Friends, a non-profit group dedicated to supporting the library by providing funds to help pay for programs and services. The library is located at 961 Main St. Please call 376-8282 for more information.
