On Friday, September 15 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Norfolk Senior Center will host popular lecturer Paolo DeGregorio. Known as the Artifactual Scholar, DeGregorio will present a program on the Renaissance, the period in European history regarded as the cultural bridge between the Middle Ages and modern history. DeGregorio is an historian and archeologist with a passion for telling stories of the past.
On Tuesday, October 17, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Senior Center will host folklorist John Horrigan. The prolific, five-time Emmy Award-winning lecturer will discuss UFOs.
On Wednesday, October 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Horrigan will present Baystate Chronology—unexplained events in Massachusetts from 1630 to the present.
Horrigan’s popular programs include lectures on historical weather, Boston history, astronomy, shipwrecks, and unexplained mysteries.
Programs are free and open to the public. Coffee and cookies will be served starting at 6 p.m.
