The Battle of the Tomato Divide: The competition will be fierce, no matter how you slice it
Who: Shawn Casey, Director of Culinary Services at Atria Franklin, has challenged Jerry Thornton, Author & Radio Host, to a cooking competition as part of Atria Senior Living’s annual Chef Showdown. The Chef Showdown is a culinary competition taking place at more than 200 Atria communities across the U.S. and Canada. Atria residents, their families, the general public and media are invited to attend.
What: Jerry Thornton and Shawn Casey, Director of Culinary Services, will go head-to-head in a cooking showdown with only one rule: All recipes must include summer’s most highly disputed ingredient, the tomato. The competition will be judged by a panel of leaders in the local community.
