Christmas Concert with The Taunton City Brass Band
Wednesday, December 5th
from 7 - 8:30 p.m.
The Taunton City Brass Band (Big Band), a 100-year-old brass band, will be playing Christmas tunes as well as some old favorites at the Holliston Senior Center.
This free concert is co-sponsored by Timothy Daniels House and the Holliston Cultural Council.

We are very pleased to announce a collaboration with our friends from Holliston Youth and Family Services for the Bereavement Project. Joanna McNulty and Jaclyn Winer, LICSW will join us for the next few months to provide creative opportunities to broaden our group experience and to promote the idea that Youth and Family Services is for all families in Holliston, no matter what the age.

Join the staff, volunteers, friends and the Tune Timers to celebrate the winter holidays. Please call by December 3rd to sign up for a delicious Italian meal with yummy pastries and music to follow. To register, please call the Senior Center by December 3rd at (508) 429-0622.
A $6 donation is requested.  Must be paid in advance.
Coffee Hour with

December 13th at 9:30 a.m.
Sergeant Glenn Dalrymple and other officers will join us at the Senior Center for some coffee and conversation.  They will be here on the following dates to discuss the listed topics and answer any questions you may have. Open Q & A

VFW & American Legion, Annual Roast Beef
Luncheon
Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 12 p.m. -  No Charge
The Holliston VFW and American Legion will be hosting their annual roast beef dinner at the Senior Center.
This wonderful luncheon fills up fast, so please call the Center and reserve your seat.
Please bring a non-perishable item to the Center for the Holliston Food Pantry.

GIFT DONATIONS
WANTED
Would you like to help your friends and neighbors this holiday season?  The Senior Center is accepting donations for seniors who are alone or in need. Items such as hats, gloves, blankets, personal care items, puzzle books, candy, and gift cards to grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. are a few suggestions. 
If you have questions, know someone in need, or to make a donation, please see any staff member.  Please drop off all donations by Wednesday, December 12th.  If you would prefer to make a cash donation, checks can be made out to the SSF. Thank you for making this a happier holiday season for everyone!

Drop-In classes resume Tuesday, December 4, 2018, and will run every Tuesday 2:45-3:30 p.m.
We are very excited to announce that Patty will be back, please note the day and time change of this class. Any age can participate in this FREE class that focuses on falls and fall-related issues that impose a significant public health burden for older residents and on the health care system that treats them.

Mindful Meditation
Monday Evenings 6:30 -7:30 p.m.
Due to the success and enjoyment of our weekly meditation series, we’ve decided to continue to meet weekly for an hour of mindful meditation and community each Monday evening. We will use downloaded guided meditations, music and an occasional guest facilitator to help us release the stress of the day and bring greater clarity, awareness and acceptance of the present moment.
